CRSCR 2026-2027 Season Opener

The season opener for the CRSCR season started today with The Patriot Trans Am Challenge at The Gorge Raceway.
8 Racers, including Dennis and Craig from Seattle joined a local group of 6 racers to take on the tight and twisty Gorge Raceway.
The track voltage was set a 11 volts and with almost 800 laps of practice it was time to tech and get the race underway. Today's race race format consisted of utilizing an increasingly popular program consisting of a qualifying race, lunch break where the race lineup is reset by the race director to put similar skilled racers on the track at the same time and then the main event is run. The two race totals are added together to make the final finishing order. Plaques were awarded for 1st - 4th and a Racer's choice voted on by the racers for the best appearing car. Tacos, snacks and cookies rounded out the lunch fare. Close racing and fun are the goal for our local club racing and that was accomplished today. Thank you racers for your support. This was Greyson's first Trans Am race and also won the racer's choice award for a beautiful Purple Dodge Challenger #77. Congrats Greyson!
