Topic: parts required for a 1/24 Hardbody Chassis Build
This is a list of parts it takes to build a 1/24 scale hardbody chassis;
K&S 1" or 3/4" brass width .090" for center section cut to desired length.
K&S 3/4" brass width .090 for side pans cut to desired length & width.
K&S .063 steel panino wire cut to different lengths. You will possibly need as much as a 3-foot length.
K&S 3/32 brass round tube.
K&S 3/32" brass square tube.
K&S 3/32" brass rectangle tube.
K&S 1/8" brass 90-degree angle.
K&S 1/8" brass rect. tube.
1" or 3/4" rear motor bracket to fit the motor you are going to use and how wide the body is that you are making the build for.
One guide tongue your choice.
Sonic .063 brass retainers.
3/32 drill blank axle.
1/8" o.d. brass tube for axle spacers.
One 3/32 crown gear your choice 37 - 42 tooth count.
One pinion gear generally 8 tooth.
Guide flag, nut & spacers & two sections of copper braid.
Wires for motor to guide.
One Pro Slot S16D motor & two motor screws.
One set front wheels 3/4" tall. your choice.
One set rear wheels sponge tires to fit 3/32 axle .790" - .830" diameter @ .400 height your choice.
The picture below is just the brass & steel wire for part numbers.
