Topic: Beau's Clubman Class Corvette

Beau and Howie stopped by yesterday to run a couple laps. Check out this Corvette Beau built for the Clubman Class as raced by PASER & OSCAR. Beau turned the fastest lap of the day with this car at 4.99 seconds.

Nice work as always by Beau.

Race cars are neither beautiful nor ugly. They become beautiful when they win.

Yes Mitch. Beau built it for the PASER/OSCAR Clubman Class. Although on Beau's build he used wheels and tires closer to True Scale specs. the Clubman class does allow shorter wheel/tire combinations.

Great looking ride!

Re: Beau's Clubman Class Corvette

I have a similar body but it's too narrow for our standard chassis. I was thinking f building something for it.

Re: Beau's Clubman Class Corvette

Steven (A.K.A. Steven Page) is now the caretaker of Beau's beautiful Corvette. Steven is currently having Jim Mitchell build a new chassis for the yellow 'Vette. Beau had separated the body from the chassis years ago, and unfortunately I did not get photos of the chassis he specifically built for this car. Watch for this one to be back on the track!

Re: Beau's Clubman Class Corvette

Here's an update on the Beau Vette, Steven Ennis who now owns the yellow Vette, commissioned a new chassis from Jim Mitchell in Redmond. The original chassis got separated from the body some years ago. Unfortunately I never documented the original chassis when I took the photos of the car during Beau and Howie's visit. I look forward to seeing this car on the track once again! KUDOS to Steven for resurecting this beauty!
