Topic: 2025 - 2026 Racing Schedule for Inslot's Checkered Flag

Inslot's Checkered Flag has three races scheduled for the 2025 - 2026 racing season.

- The first race will be on Saturday November 8th 2025. This will be an OSCAR trophy race for the NASCAR Class. The race will use the normal OSCAR format which has been in place for over 20 years. This includes qualifying (time trials) at the beginning of the race day. Depending on the number of entries, the field may be divided into two groups (i.e. A & B) based on each racers qualifying results. Each of the two groups will get the same amount of racing time. The track will be open Friday evening before race day for practice and tuning. An award for the Best of Show entry will be handed out based on votes by the racers in attendance. Race entry fee of $15 includes lunch.

- The second race will be on Saturday February 21st 2026. This race will be a PASER trophy race for the Sportsman Class. Since the PASER Sportsman Class rules and those for the Northwest True Scale Sportsman cars are very similar, NWTS Sportsman cars will be legal for this race. The race format will be 3 rounds of racing with 4 minute heats. An award for the Best of Show entry will be handed out based on votes by the racers in attendance. Race entry fee of $15 includes lunch.

- The third race will be on Saturday April 25th 2026. This race will be a PASER trophy race for the Can Am Class. The PASER Can Am Class rules will be observed for this race. This is arguably the easiest scratchbuilt chassis class to get involved with. With IRRA Retro D3 cars conforming to the PASER rules, chassis for purchase online are readily available. In addition the chassis rules for the PASER Can Am class are very open, with the only strict requirement is for inline motor configuration. This type of open rule set is at the heart of the PASER philosophy. The race format for this race will be 3 rounds of racing with 4 minute heats. An award for the Best of Show entry will be handed out based on votes by the racers in attendance. Race entry fee of $15 includes lunch.
