Chassis Session at Rapid Raceway

Yesterday Howie had a chassie work session at Rapid Raceway. Although I did not take a project to work on, I wondered over to see what was going on around 10:30 A.M. When arrived there were 5 guys there working away! Hersche was building a Hanna style rattle chassis. Tim was assembling his new 2NASTE chassis with help from Douglas, while at the same time Geof was putting his 2NASTE chassis together. Howie was keeping everyone coffee'd up!

Later in the afternoon, with just Hersche, Douglas, Howie, and myself left, Howie turned the track on. Douglas uncovered some handling issues with his Trans Am Mustang. Howie and I helped Douglas make a few adjustments to the car and it seemed to turn the corner, and the handling definitely improved. Hersche got on the track for practice laps with his NASCAR.

The next thing I knew it was almost 5 P.M! I had a great time! The B.S. sessions were excellent, and everybody got a lot done! Thank you Howie for a great day!
