Topic: GT-1 / Group C race: 4/12/2025

The first running of the PASER, GT-1 / Group C class, at the Gorge Raceway was a success. Nine racers and Doug, who came to observe and help corner marshal, came to have an afternoon of fun, snacks and a little racing to see if this is a possible class to be added in the future. The close racing and a variety of different cars made the event even more enjoyable. Thank you all for coming. The final results had places 3 through 8 separated by only 8 laps. Now that's some close racing!  Now......The final results:
Name     /     laps
1. Racerbob            337.2
2. Bad Billy               306.3
3. Al (Meat)              297.6
4. Mike G.                 295.3
5. Bill Henry              291.5
6. Howie                   290.7
7. Steve                    289.1
8. Bartman               264.2
9. Ken                   212.9

The Group C cars were a lot of fun and provided for some very close racing! Chassis were mostly 2NASTE side and angle winders.
