Race #5 Summer Sizzler Series 8/3/2026

Race #5 at the Gorge Raceway saw 6 racers come with their 4.5" Flexi NASCAR cars to do a little beating and banging around the tight and twisty layout for some Monday fun. The voltage was set for 10.5 volts for one round and 10 volts for round 2. The cars were fast, but more stable and drivable. The race program consisted of 2 rounds with 5 minute heats. Bill Bostic (Bad Billy) put on a clinic and spanked the field with a fast car and great driving. After the smoke cleared(not outside) the final results had some close battles. Soft Tacos and cookies were the fare for the day and a good time was had by all. Thank you to those who came to support out local club racing events.
