Topic: Ferrari 312 Roll bar

Bill- My roll bar was completely destroyed and lost last night.  I was thinking about copying your bar and was wondering how you attached it to the body?

Hey Rico, It's too bad those things are so brittle. To mount the one I made out of brass I drilled out the holes through the body. The brass extends below the top of the body and I used JB Weld epoxy to secure it from underneath. I haven't really had a chance to test it under actual race conditions, but I figure worst case scenerio it might break loose from the body, but still be in one piece.
