I had an awesome time at the NASTE Halloween Race last night!
A big thanks to Howie for hosting again this year! Rapid Raceway is the perfect venue for this crazy race!
Thanks also to Terry for loaning me a car and controller so I could partake in the craziness!
I apologize for not doing a better job of getting photos this. I'm missed some entries completely and I apologize to those builders. As always, all of the cars were really cool again this year! Here are the photos I did take-

Another new entry this year was Zack's uh...........well, as best as I could guess, one of the co-stars from the Cars movie, only with a bloody nose?

Rico's entry had some.....well, clearance issues. But nothing Rico couldn't remedy with just a whack or too!

Monte's go kart entry built by Bryan Trachsel, is always a crowd favorite at the NASTE Halloween Races!

Zen Racer Victoria's Merc entry was built by Monte and featured bobble head driver and passengers!
Terry's early modified Ford driver took the luge approach.
And then there's Al's driver....again with the attitude!....I just noticed.......he ran somebody over!

These are the results from the first round of racing consisting of 2 minute heat races run in full light conditions:
The second round was run in full darkness, also 2 minute heats.
Congrats to Terry on his overall win! King of the dark and the light!

Wow i ran the same amount of laps in the dark. Goes to show the track was still new to me in the light haha

This is always a fun and crazy slot car event. It is cool to be able to host it. Thanks to Monte and Rico for loaning me a car to join the fun. Thanks for the Pizza and the goodies.

It was a great night with friends. I will go back to my normal funny but slow cars next year. I didn't notice the guy under Al's car either!
