Hi guys I'm so glad Al will be opening his house again. I can't wait to race again. Forgive me Mitch but what is PGE Pre-Ground Effect means? Is this Sportscar Era Class? They need to be Carrera as well?

Wow damn of course I would like it then. We should setup a race here then, who would be in? Of course just need to wait for after these fires now to go away. Hopefully we will get some rain this next week. Its pretty wet outside today, even with no rain.

Oh yeah Ive seen those, it looks like to make it work as analog you need to cut some wires in that section. Is that a 90°? I dont know if I would like to spend even more on the track, it was quite of a spend last month to do this digital lol how much are you asking for it?

Looks like a nice flowing layout.I have some corner lane changes. They no longer make them. If you want by try some. I'll won't be using them any time soon.

Another picture of the track, I use an electric winch to lift the platform when Im not using it, and I can move it to the center of the garage to have space all around.

CrashPilot wrote:Hey guys I really miss going to the races, Ive been racing RC cars on carpet at PDX RC Underground and following all the guidelines, masks all the time, good sanitization of the pit areas, some degree of social distancing and alcohol to sanitize your hands everywhere. I can say that I feel safe there, we could do something like that.
As Mitch mentioned on Facebook a guess, I bought a REVOSLOT, ohh man those cars are just perfect. They make NSR look crap, seriously.
We could have some sort of class for those type of GT cars, REVO, NSR...No a completely different subject, I have in my garage a nice digital Scalextric track on top of a 13 by 5 feet table, It would be nice to host a race or something here in Scappoose. What you guys think?

Sure. It's Scaley cars that are unreliable with their pressed on plastic wheels and low quality bushings. Repair parts can be difficult to source. The guide blades...
I don't dislike the class, I dislike the cars we are stuck with to use in it.
So, I bought one... buncha dastards... maybe I can sell it once the season is over only to find we'll run them again next year and have to buy another one.
But those problems are the same on every Scaley cars, not only with Trans Ams... Stock scalextric cars are useless without magnets right out of the box...
I just bought a F1 car... removed the magnet ... damn, it looks like I'm running on ice! Literally...
That MG Sebring I ran last Thursday... chassis is bent... big gap on axle bushings... and with no magnet looks like that car has only 2 inline wheels lol
Well... but I guess thats the fun on slot car racing... is all about tunning!

Hello guys! This is Fernando. I'm new here. First, thanks for the incredible hospitality at the events. As everybody said, slot cars are really addicting, and you all guys are awesome.
I'm completely in to GT3 class, first because I do think that the cars are gorgeous. Second because I already have one Scalextric Bentley Continental GT3 and two other Porsche GT that came with my starter track....LOL
This friday I'm gonna be adding to my "garage" a Scalextric Ford GT40 MKII 1966. It is arriving friday... Purchased at Amazon, theres a lot of options there in a good price and free shipping for those who have a Prime account.
Look forward for the next race!
