Thanks for the update Bill. We all are missing your smiling face at the races. Could of used another hand on the fire hose Thursday night and you missed the Godzilla moment on the back straightaway. I sure have a way of finding bad luck.

So I have been breaking in my motors by running them in wd40 at low voltage and then flushing them out and reinstalling them.most of the motors end up running remarkable better than they did before the break in. I have been doing these since my rc days. So is these ok to do or not.was brought up at the last race night.

Looks like second is my lot in life. Did have tone of fun.stayed for a little after the last race and got to play with new sideways
Lambo and shapeway corba. Both are nice and smooth. Hard to believe sideways rate that motor at 17k. Only thing I have to wine about is the wing mounts.

I'm good with what ever you all wanna run. only brought up the podded thing was that there was so many more ways one can tune a car. and thought that what most guys were asking for. t/a for one comes to mind
I do think we should at least had one new class every year or so to keep it from getting to stale. there is to many new cars/classes coming out not think about running them. maybe not has a point race at 1st but maybe work them into the line up yo keep the championship fresh. just my take on it.

Another class that might be fun would be a open gt3 .there are a lot new cars coming out that would fit right in.just have to decide on a motor limit. Sideways NSR RevoSlot Scaleauto MRSLOTCAR along with the 3d printer guys there would be some nice cars to run

Re: Rule Changes for 2019 Racing Season (36 replies, posted in NASTE)
I was not finished with post. was going and did add somethings to the post
I has going with a open class on the trans am and the le mans
In other words podded or brass and 21k motors.or a spec lower rpm
Keep the other non podded classes such as trans and le mans for the support race. the 2nd race of the night will be for the tuners

Re: Rule Changes for 2019 Racing Season (36 replies, posted in NASTE)
These are my vote for the three point classes.and few others for vote
1. Can am
2.trans am
3.le mans
4. sports 1 but with a twist podded chassis or brass with a spec 14k motor. IPS rules maybe
5 open gt3 podded or brass chassis and a spec motor

Re: Rule Changes for 2019 Racing Season (36 replies, posted in NASTE)
These is my take on the current rules.I think we need classes that the new racer cam show up and race and not have to spend extra cash to run. We also need classes were the tuners can do there thing. Need to find a happy middle.
