No it wasn't the trigger wire this time. I think with a carbon cleaning it may work again, but I have had quite a few issues with this controller in general. I will keep it as a backup and loaner but want something higher quality for weekly use.

I checked with Bill right when he got Goose's stuff, unfortunately he has not been able to locate anything.

Just thought I would throw this out there before I go and buy a new one at full price.

I am looking for a quality difalco or other controller.

Can pay cash or trade work or cars.

Thanks,
Zack

THAT was a fun race to watch!

Zack

Yessir!

Everyone is happy!

Zack

I had a great time as well. I look forward to the start of the season! Fantastic drive from Doc, he got me in Can Am right at the buzzer!

The next one I call the "full monte". It's a Pioneer Mustang fastback. Has never lost a Tran Am race at Al' s...

Body & chassis modified for float.
Scc Race rear bushings
Black stripe motor
Slot.it rear axle w/32t plastic spur
Slot.it 9t brass pinion
Slot.it 15x10 air rear wheel
Thunderslot rear tires
Slot.it aluminum front wheels
Trued and glued front tires
Porsche 908 wheels milled down as inserts
Slot.it flat head brass body screws with small heads
Lots of lead.
Professor motor guide flag

Has never has the quitest gears, but is very quick and easy drive.  It took a huge amount of time to set this well, but i got my heart set on a 70 Camaro. No one needs two good trans am cars....

Couldnt load pics on my phone, they will be up tomorrow.

65 bucks takes it.

Zack

Bill, sounds like a plan to me. Happy you can use it.

I will have car number 2 up tonight!

Zack

I have decided to put up a few of my proven race cars. I have been building many for club members which I enjoy, I figure this may make it easier for some and then I can just buy different cars and keep moving along.

First up is a Alfa Romeo 33/3, this car is legal for Odd Thursday classes PGE and CAN AM. This car has ran in the 6.3's at Al's track, and is easily a competitor in these classes with a good driver. If you are looking for perfect scale appearance this isn't your ride, but it is fast.

Mods list:
CG Slotcars 3d printed pod, bronze race bushings
Broken in slot.it orange bell, tach's at 22,600rpm
12 tooth slot.it pinion
34 Tooth slot.it spur gear (alloy)
15x10 Slot.it air wheels on rear
Thunderslot rear tires
Flattened chassis
Trimmed body and chassis for float
Slot.it soft braid installed on flag
Front tires trued and glued.

Asking 60 bucks. I will have other cars added to this thread shortly!

No magnets for you Mitch ! On 9/19/19 we will run CanAm and LMP. The Point Series Championship races will start on 10/3/19. There will not be a race on 10/17/19.  I'm planning on racing on 10/31/19 Halloween night unless some of you object. Thoughts ?

Sounds good to me Al!

Getting excited for this one!

Zack

Al said he was going to work on a schedule. He also said we may postpone one more race before starting points, which I don't have a problem with since people are still getting cars together.

Zack

Even with the light turnout I had a great time.

Hope to see all of you again in a couple weeks!

I am in, sounds like a challenge!

Zack

I am in for the 24.......

Stand, I agree he is sometimes frustrating with rule changes and such. But you have admit the cars ran very equally across the board with those tires in play!

Zack

I had a great time at the race as well. Even though I didn't have too much luck in the racing portion. I think everything turned out to be pretty equal in both cars and teams.

Stan really drove well in the Trans am and Mini car portion of the day, which helped them secure the overall win!

It was also nice to hear how well praised our club group C cars were, everyone enjoyed racing them. Except Rico, he was the only one who got a raw deal on that race, but drove well in all the others!

I have a couple pics I will try and get up here in a while!

Zack, a few questions:

1) Do I need to bring car(s)?
2) What's the address of your shop, and could I carpool with you?
3) What time do you expect to be back in Portland?

I have permission to participate...so I'm ready to go!

Stan

Stan, you dont need to bring any other than something you may like to run for fun. We should have enough gfx cars to go around.

I am hoping to leave up there around 5. Be back in town by 8.

Shop adress is 13339 ne airport way. Suite #500.

Carpooling should be no problem!

Zack

Alright guys, this race is happening THIS WEEKEND.

I was hoping for a better turnout from our side, but I think there will be enough people in attendance to have some good fun racing. I got a couple GFX cars, ready to go, and AL also has a few to bring to along.

I am planning on leaving my shop right by the Portland airport around 7:30am on Saturday, I should have room for a couple passengers if you would like to carpool.

Hope to see you there!

Well my Thunderslot M6 was still running 5.9-6.0's after the racing was over, so I don't think they are quite on that level Doc. They were however some of the most fun heats I have had there, running door to door with you for over a minute was awesome!

I was pretty worried I was going to get my butt kicked by one of you guys, especially Rico, He was on fire with that car!

Great time as usual, Al is always a gracious host.

Thanks for the race report Bill!

Doc, I a couple cars you are welcome to run. My Alfa 33/3 is pretty skippy. I will get yours thrown back together but it certainly won't be fast!

Zack

Does anyone know what we are racing next week?
