You are correct Doc!
Jeff dropped two spots, from second to fourth.....
Rico also suffered problems and lost his 5 point lead, dropping to second trailing by 3 points.....
This is the closest/tightest point series we've seen in years! Lots of shuffling within the top 10....

Odd Thursday Night Racing on December 29th at TooBad Motorplex. We had a great turnout with 16 racers for the point race. Gone is the snow and ice, and temperature-wise the garage was comfortable with all the bodies providing some additional heat. Of course the racing was hot and close! The widest margine of victory in any class was 1.1 laps! Highlights included Dan Fritz scoring yet another second place finish! I believe he holds the record for the most runner up finishes in NASTE racing history! Maybe we should start calling him Doc 2?

AWESOME day today! Thanks Chris!
NASTE will be entering a THREE car team for the 2017 Portland Adult Soap Box Derby! The Hawksbill Flyer will be flanked by two cars from the Scuderia Kouba Shop!
And to you!
Terry & Dorothy, Thank you for the hospitality and track time today. I really appreciate the time to do some testing and to get the opportunity to play with Terry's great T-Jet cars! Especially the Isettas!!!!
You're close Dude....VERY CLOSE!!!!
You're right Doc, thanks! I forgot the point adjustment each driver received in race number one. I made the corrections.
Sorry about that!

The weather is GREAT here, sunny and about 74 degrees, so I'm a little out of touch. I won't be back to the arctic until late tomorrow night (Thursday). I'll shoot Al an email message...........
It was cool yesterday. The locals were wearing coats!.....about 70 degrees.......
Hmmmmmmmmm..............."chocolate balls".....................that explains a lot!
The wing car would work fine at Rapid Raceway, but they don't race them in any of their classes. The Parma International 32 will run fine on Monte's track, Al's Rippin' Ridin' Raceway, and at my TooBad Motorplex. However the motor is way more powerful than what you need for those tracks. As it is set up it would be better suited to tracks like Rapid Raceway, but again they have no classes for that particular car. Of the two cars the International 32 could be set up to run in the GT Class we race on Odd Thursday Nights as a scratchbuilt. You would have to replace the motor with something like an H&R 26k, install urethane tires, and a suitable coupe type body. As far as the wing car, if it were me I'd sell it on Ebay. It would probably bring somewhere around $20 to $25.
Laptop........I have a flip phone!!!!
Sunny & 80 degrees!!!!
Looks like you have a 1/24 wing car chassis and a 1/32 Parma Euro chassis. The Parma Euro chassis is a good one!
The December first race at Rippin' Ridin' Raceway concludes the first round of racing with the Trans Am Class cars in the NASTE 2017 Point Series Championship. In this first round Rico Locati has established himself in the lead with an inpressive four wins out of the first six races! Rico is followed closely by Jeff Fields who also scored a win, and trails Rico by just four points. Currently in third is Chris Kouba just another three points down. Al Christensen scored the other win in the Trans Am Round.
For the next round of six races we will be racing the Le Mans Class cars. Will anyone be able to dominate this class? Can anyone beat Chet?
