Topic: RussKit Black Widow

The more I look at this car the more intrigued I am to have one.  Anyone ever tried one of these.  I don't expect breath-taking performance, more just a cool car from the old days.

I've added it to my want list right next to the Garvic and the Classic Asp.

Now if you happen to have these sitting around and are willing to move them do let me know, thanks!

Smooth,

You talkin' about the dual motored Russkit cars?

If so you're just a little late. Sold a mint one on Ebay about 6 months ago.

As far as a slot car they are not very impressive from what I've heard. Evidently Russkit was liquidating those motors, and having two in one chassis made them go away quicker!!! (That's the explanation I read as to the "why" two motors).

Re: RussKit Black Widow

Too funny, that's probably just what they did.  Sorry I missed my window of opportunity.

Nevertheless... due diligence always pays off.  Meet my new acquisitions:

Oh but wait, there's more!  It turns out that I also had a RussKit Carrera chassis minus the Russkit motor and with some strange addition of a Monogram Chaparral body with screws through the hard plastic.  ARGGGG!

I also had a McLaren body which is one of the bodies that the chassis originally came with so some restoration of all three is in order.

Hello from Daytona Beach Florida !

That number 82 Lotus looks just like the one I sold on Ebay recently !

Re: RussKit Black Widow

More likely they all die a similar death...
