What chip do you need in your controller to run 1/32? I might be able to make it.

Any pictures before the track was moved to your place?
Would love to see it.

As Mitch said...once I get done with my new house stuff, I too would be willing to lend a hand where needed.

Great to have another track close by!

Planning to add it to the track rotation for points racing?

is it plastic track? I cannot tell from the pictures.

65.5K is an insane price.

Yea Matt; I was wondering if you threw in the towel on slot racing!

Nope...can't get rid of me that quickly, ha.

Just been working on our new house on the weekends.
I could come race but I would quickly have to also build myself a shed in the back yard to sleep.

Those are all good looking cars!
Hope everyone had a good time...hopefully one of these weekends my Saturday will be free!
Cheers.

I should be there next time, we are back in the world as of today.

I am curious and would like a bit of insight as to how I go about being out of this world. I could use a good vacation.

Hey, yes that is fine with me!
I offered to buy both, to essentially hold one for Chris until he could make it out, so it would not disappear.
Thanks,
Matt

Matt, Howie is currently out of town and won't be back until after Saturday's race.

Well then... I guess he cant bring them Saturday.
I will figure out a time to go grab them.
Good excuse to talk shop and have a cup of coffee.
Thanks!

I will take them both.
I don’t have a can-am car.
If Chris want one down the road I will sell it at the same price I bought it.
Howie will you be out at Bobs tomorrow?
If so, could you bring them?
Thanks!
Matt

Thanks to Bob for hosting this mid summer race.
There were a lot of very fast cars with a ton of great on track battles!
I would say that might be the most fun I have had at a race thus far in my short time racing with you all.
Was sure the most fun I have ever had ending up in last place at anything.

Wow! Ten racers that is a very good turnout through out the day!
I am in-between jobs and couldn't pass up a cheap round of golf yesterday.
I plan to be out there next Monday!

So now we are at the negative part of the evening. After running the Over 50 Class race, I set the computer to Practice mode. After about a half hour of running cars........FAIL.......the computer monitor went BLACK.....let me just note here: I HATE COMPUTERS!

After switching back to the old computer and SRT program it was determined the new revamped computer with Windows 7 system was the culprit. A "Warning" on the screen stating that the operating system installed was "not an official operating system" leads me to believe the issue is a specific Windows thing. Part of my problems with setting this other computer up has been the fact that I don't get good WIFI coverage in the shop, so I can't download programs and or get updates. So today i will bring the computer in the house where I can connect and see if I can "fix" its problems. We'll see............more on that late also.

Is the panel in the garage/shop powered by the same panel that runs the whole house?
I ask because Netgear makes an item that could help.
Could use a range extender or a product that they call a powerline adapter.
Those are both options to extend range into your shop.
That is if you want to make the internet better out there.

I hope to make it out in the next week or so to race and hang!
I have family in town next week but got a new job and will have two weeks off in between my current role and the new one.

Cheers.

I know we are still a month out but how is the response to this race Bob?
Do you think we will have the 10 people to run?

One of our units (No Central AC) has the dual hose and never needs to be drained.
Our other unit is a single hose.
Depending on temp and humidity it can run for 45minutes to several hours before needed to be drained.
For this heat wave I bought a single step stool (300lb. limit Rubbermaid, $11) and put a large plastic storage bin under the drain hole and would only have to be emptied once every 4 hours or so (about 2/3 full so I wouldn't spill it all over the room)
That could be an option for long hot days in the shop.

Those temps are very good Bill!
There are a variety of exhaust hoses for the units.
Does yours have a place for an intake hose and exhaust hose?
If so, highly recommend getting two hoses (double hose kits are usually in the $75ish range)
It will allow the unit to dispel the water it builds up so it will not shut off due to having to be drained.

Put me as a yes for now! Thanks Bob!
Last time we ran the Flexi's there it was a lot of fun.

Most likely be my last time here. Getting very crowded  and touristy. They trying to pass new taxes on people coming over and if they pass  it will drive most working class people  from not coming. One is a 400.oo impact tax per person that fly in or cruise ship and the other is 100.00  a day condo hotel impact tax.thats not counting the extra 200.00 they added onto the car rental.

This is one of the reasons the Mrs and I never go to Hawaii.
Last time we looked we decided to go to Costa Rica instead and this year went to Mexico.
