Running Flys with replacement drive train will be much more fun than running stock. I for one am in favor of adopting SlotIt replacements. I have a favorite Porsche 908 that would be a super contender if allowed.

The track is "Autodromo Rossa Colline" (Red Hills Raceway in Italian). Since I'm in the Red Hills of the Dundee AVA and live off Red Hills Road, it seemed appropriate. When I was in SoCal, it was "Autodromo Baia Della Sud" (South Bay Raceway).

Guys and gals—

I know I've been saying this for quite some time, but I DO have a track, and it's up and running. The only downside is that it's in our shop, and with cold weather, it's very difficult to keep warm. When the weather gets a little warmer, I'll be inviting everyone down for some racing. The track is 4 lanes routed, about 68' per lane with a Pyramid 25XK power supply for variable voltage.

Some pix (when the track was in Southern California, slightly different now in the shop):

I'm interested as well. August is relatively free after week 1.
