well it's a new race again. all that hard wok Chris did over the last 4 races just washed away. my reign on top may be a short one but I can bask in the sun for two weeks at least.

Re: NASTE 2017 Point Series Championship Standings & Race Results

Tomorrow is the final race in the 2017 NASTE Point Series Championship. This season has been one of the most competitive racing seasons I can remember. With one race remaining just two points separate first place from second place, and only three points separate fourth through seventh places! Tomorrow's race will be exciting!

Re: NASTE 2017 Point Series Championship Standings & Race Results

Win or loose this has been one hell of a points series..should of been walk away for chris but missing two races  sure hurt his point total.

Re: NASTE 2017 Point Series Championship Standings & Race Results

Al and I are tied for fifth. Mathematically we can't catch the leaders, but we can sure make  Jeff uncomfortable, so it looks like the battle is for 1st and 4th.

Re: NASTE 2017 Point Series Championship Standings & Race Results

I'm currently in seventh and I would sure like a top 5 finish in the series. But I have a crap car..........I'll run the puke out of her!

With *your* math skills, Bill, I'm certain that won't be a problem!

Re: NASTE 2017 Point Series Championship Standings & Race Results

Congratulations Chris on a hard fought and well earned first place finish. Nobody let you walk away with the series, you had to work for it.

Congratulations to Bill for putting this series together it was enjoyed by many. I can hardly wait to hear what we will run next year. Hopefully next year I won't have such a slow start.

To offset the loss of Too Bad Motorplex maybe next year we will have a couple of new tracks to spread the racing around. I have contractors coming out next week to give us an estimate on re-piping the house, this may involve losing sections of the downstairs ceiling. We'll have to complete this before we can move further on the room where the track will be. At least it's moving forward.

Re: NASTE 2017 Point Series Championship Standings & Race Results

Congratulations Chris have to look back and say if I only ????????
well maybe next year,, great racing by all

Re: NASTE 2017 Point Series Championship Standings & Race Results

Even though they are "just toy cars...", I am very happy and proud to have pulled off the championship.  I thoroughly enjoy the seriously fun time we have doing this.  I love the competition, and it's impressive that it's matched with just as much camaraderie.  I think that's what keeps me coming back.  If it wasn't fun, we wouldn't be doing it, right?

So thanks to all those who did make me work for it, especially Doc, who took it all the way to the wire.  I love doing this every Odd Thursday, championship or not, and look forward to what next year brings!

And to Bill, thanks for organizing the circus and keeping things on track!  And to Al (and Bill again too), thanks for having us over hosting our Odd Thursdays.

Game on!
Chris
