Topic: The NASTE Shoot Out at Rapid Raceway this Sunday June 12th

The final race of the NASTE 2016 Point Series Championship is this Sunday at Howie's Rapid Raceway.

We have 4 brand new 1/24 cars to be raced in the NASTE IROC format.

Lunch will be pot luck style, so please bring your favorite dish or snack.

Doors open at noon, and lunch will be on with the opening of the doors.

Here's how the points stack up going into the last race with each racer's best five finished tallied:
1st Bryan Trachsel 97 pts
2nd Bill Bostic 97
3rd Monte Saager 90
4th Rico Locati 90
5th Terry Abbott 89
6th Tracy Flood 81
7th Al Christensen 72
8th Mitch Brooks 70
9th Gary Goose Gossett 67 (4 races)
10th Tyler Petrequin 44 (4 races)
11th Amy Fields 41 (4 races)
12th Jeff Fields 39 (3 races)

In addition Bryan Trachsel earned 1 full bonus lap for his two wins on non-hosted tracks.

This will be an action packed, close race!

Thank you Howie for allowing us to race on your fun track! That was terrific! I always like racing there!

Congrats to Bill for his awesome win. Pretty darn fitting for the 20th anniversary of NASTE.

Thank you to everyone who brought out food! Yum! It was very delicious!

Those cars were flashy and very fun to drive. They just zoomed around the track.

This is one more reason I hate working on the weekend. missed one more great day of racing.....

It was a fun day at Rapid. Neat pictures you took "Hammer", and thanks for the positive comments on the track.
Yes I got some free labor from some nice guys, a thank you to all that lifted the Model A onto the chassis. The body and the chassis look a lot better together.
