Topic: Met Another Slot Car Enthusiast

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting another slot car enthusiast. Steve Blegen had purchased one of my slot cars I had put up for sale on Ebay. Turns out he lives in Milwaukie, so he came by TooBad Motorplex to pick up his car. Steve lived in California and had raced HO cars with a group of HOPRA racers, some of whom we all know, or know of. Gary Beedle for one, and Andre Perra were just a couple of the people Steve knows from the hey day of HO racing! Steve like many of us old HO racers has migrated more towards the larger 1/32 scale cars, due in part to our reduced vision for things on the small side, and our quest to make things a little slower moving! It was great to meet Steve and hopefully we will see him at some of our racing events!

Has he joined the forum yet? Any idea what part of Milwaukie he is in? Enquiring minds want to know.
