Topic: New Life for an old beater.

This came home from last years proxy with a dying motor.
It started out with a podium finish them got slower with each race. By the end of the proxy it was finishing last.
When it got home I tossed it into a drawer where bi found it recently.
I gave it an H&R 18K motor,  changed out the PG urethanes for Thunderslots,  widened the track just a bit past proxy spec.
It now runs easily in the mid 6s as quick,  smooth and quiet as a new Slot It.

Yea I have one of those sitting around also. Be fun little class to horse  play around with.  Mine still has  the urethane  tires on it. Never thought about putting some rubber shoes on it. Bring it next time at Al and we can compare times between the two.
