Springwater Raceway will be open for practice on August 15th from 11-4. Opportunity to prepare for the Patriot 500.
This is to verify the race reediness after water damage repairs.

Re: Patriot 500

Thanks to everyone that came out to test. Everything went well.
Track is good to go. Looking forward to the Patriot 500.

Re: Patriot 500

What a day! The opening race of the 2022-2023 NWTS Season, The Patriot 500 was everything one could hope for. With 16 racers taking to the track for 48 minutes of door-to-door racing, there was never a dull moment. From the drop of the green flag to the checkered flag, anything that can happen, did. Blown motors, bad crashes, broken bodies and some good old side by side racing kept everyone on their toes. A HUGE THANK YOU! to those who helped fix broken cars, corner marshaling after falling out of the race and just hanging around for fellowship. Firehouse Sub sandwiches didn't hurt either. A HUGE thank you to my wife, Teri, who picked and delivered the Firehouse Subs. After all was said and done, here are the final results:
1st - Gary Tipton - 485.6 laps
2nd - DC Dynamo - 464.4 laps
3rd - Craig Rieland (Fly Racing) 463.4 laps
4th - Racerbob 461 laps.
5th - Scary Gary - 442.3 laps
6th - Al Christensen (meat) 440.9 laps
7th - Bartman - 438.9 laps
8th - Stewmeat - 409.8 laps
9th - Rob -394.3 laps (also won Racer's Choice)
10th - Rico - 377.3 laps
11th - Hersh - 332.6 laps
12th - Doug - 320.2 laps
13th - Gearloose - 295.8 laps
14th - Mitch - 261.2 laps
15th - Bad Billy - 161.0 laps
16th - Herb - 27.9 laps

Re: Patriot 500

Gobs of fun ... especially with the side by side battles and close car performances and lap totals and not knowing the results till the last heat.
