Vintage 1/24 Photos

Here's a couple of cool old photos and an email Howie forwarded to me:

This lady is from Louisiana. Her husband and I met in Houston. He races 1 to 1 cars and he is about my age. He asked me what I do for a hobby/ entertainment and I gave him my Rapid Raceway business card and my interest in 1 to 1 street rods. His wife says she has a picture of his slot car that he used to race. And if she ever found it, she would send it to me. Here it is. It looks like maybe a Cox Chaparral.
I am leaving the note she wrote me intact.

I finally found the photo of his slot car and the other photo is of the track they ran on. This was in Japan about 50 years ago.
