Bill, I feel your pain, it's why I dislike most things Scaley including the Trans Am class. But it's good we run a wide variety of elements.
But for heavens sake quit helping that Al guy. He's plenty fast already. ;-)

Really, I thought he just forgot to clean the pot between the red and white. Seriously it looks great Chris.
I have some of the older cars that I don't really care for the molded colors but when I can find them without paint I hate to do it.
And so many red ones, red plastic must have been very cheap in the 60s.

I used to feel that way about the original unpainted cars, being concerned about "collector" value. But I have finally come to realize pretty much ANY old car is available on Ebay at some point in perfect original condition! So what the hell....paint the thing!

I really don't think the F1 GTR and the Ford are proper GT3 cars, I know proxies dictate their own rules but there was debate about this on next years gt3 proxy. They decided to exclude all GTE/GT2 etc vehicles on the same ground as I am proposing here. They just don't fit well with the other cars. The Mclaren is about as exotic as it should get IMO. I already have more scalextric GT3 cars than I want.....
Quick search the F1 was listed as GT1, the 650s and the 720s being the only mclarens listed as GT3. So far as I can tell anyway, but I just punched it in Wiki!

I'm not for adding "new" cars once the class season starts. Next season might be fine but not for this one.
And I'm with Zach, I already have plenty of Scaley cars including one on that list. A pretty little thing.

Mitch and myself both have a stroke in common, I have been rehabbing since Feb 6. I still have not been cleared to drive alone so my wife has volunteered to take me tomorrow night so you all have to be on your best behavior;-)
