I wonder how long I have to wait for a yellow one.

What was ever decided on motor limits for this class? I was looking at the new Police F1 cars. They look great but have 24.5K motors in them. Would we have to change to a legal/different motor to race them?

I'll probably be there, well you know how junkies are.

It is supposed to be dry and cold tomorrow with partly clear skies. The roads should melt some but mostly be wore down to nothing by tomorrow afternoon. They will probably start freezing over by the time we head home, but there shouldn't be much moisture. It took me two hours and forty five minutes to get from downtown Portland to Tigard this evening. That seems like a regular odd Thursday commute for Monte.

My car is slow enough that it misses most of the carnage so it has all of its parts. For me the carnage comes in waves, or is that passes?

That midget's not junk, it's one of the hardest to find items on the internet.

I had considered running up to Tacoma on Saturday to check out the Enduro and Al talked about going with me. This will no doubt change that, so I'll probably be there too.

November 12th? Isn't that the 24 hour race in Tacoma?

I've thought about just repainting last years car, but we've been so busy at work that it just may have to be a
Hearse again.

I'm not racing the other Cartrix cars, I'm racing all of the other cars. It now runs in the high 7s and low 8s at Al's lap after lap without coming out of the slot. Besides I bought it used with a bad motor, but that equals cheap.
After doing so well the last couple of months in the over 50 class my Porsche and I got quite a spanking last Thursday night. Somebody's been working on their cars, so I decided it must be tune up time. I replaced the loose sloppy axle bearings with some brand new oilites and made a few other adjustments. It now runs smooth as glass and was turning a steady stream of 7.7s and a few 7.5s if I chose to lean on it, all without leaving the slot. I'm ready for a rematch, if I can just keep my hands off of it until the next odd Thursday.

I figured out the handling problem I had with my Cartrix Aston Martin. I opened it up and scraped the glue off of the side of the motor. It turns out the used "blue Motor" I grabbed out of the box was a Cobra 26K motor, I wasn't even aware I still had one. I replaced it with an 18K Hawk motor. It's much more user friendly now.

Are to going to make the body lines angular, or are to going to build some wooden bucks to hammer out some sexy curves?

Basically its the same rules as our classic sports car class, it just has a 13K motor limit. This year we get to use urethane tires where before they had to be Ninco classics. The reason for the slower motor is because most of the tracks are not like Bill's and Al's, they are smaller and tighter so top speed isn't the focus as much as smooth handling.

For those interested in entering the 2017 IPS proxy Alexis has started taking reservations for next year. It is limited to 30 something cars and appears to be filling up fast.

I ran my Mustang for a long time and just couldn't come out on top. I finally switched to a Camaro. It turns out it wasn't the car.

Especially in that narrow track Mustang. That 1/8"-1/4" difference between the Mustang and the Camaro is huge. Great driving job. On the other hand my 10th place finish is looking better and better. ;-)

I'm a consumer and would have to put it together, thus spoiling it.

I'm not on call any more, I'll give it some consideration. 40 minutes heats you say, I was only partly kidding when I joked about my 3 minute attention span.

Watch the stairs Doc.

Since September 13 was actually a Tuesday this year does that mean we are starting tomorrow night 9/15? If so we should bring a trans am car? Or did you mean October 13th? Either way I'm ready, lets go.

Mine's fixed, had to find a new O ring at the local hardware store and put a new grommet on the wire. With Rico's new axle it appears to be ready to go.

Uh, Ummm, I've been testing your tires for the last two races, but with the front end issues I still finished near the bottom. Last race in the first heat I got a little too wide on Al's bank and Monte broadsided me so hard my car broke. I borrowed one of Rico's cars and had my best finish ever in that class.

Looks like Dennis had a three wheeled car on the tow back up, but it doesn't appear to help.  Wheel Diameter makes a difference too. Those taller wheels have the bearings working only about half as hard as Dennis's smaller wheels.
